The More You Learn, The Harder You Laugh at Life’s Bullsh*t!

 Jarius McNair Edens is a naturally happy soul, conscious visionary, modern mentor, and a life coach specializing in personal growth, transformation, and radical joy cultivation. Jarius has a  Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and focuses on teaching, coaching, and mentoring. She is known for teaching, leading, and guiding women to their own desired level of contentment, confidence, and RADICAL JOY.  She is a former English teacher turned serial entrepreneur. In 2016, she started The Passion Driven Woman Network, where she highlighted professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.  In 2017, she opened The Kreative Lounge, a successful collaborative workspace and community hub in Illinois. After the opening of TKL, she explored other creative outlets such as writing and e-commerce retail. Jarius does several things to cultivate RADICAL JOY for herself---from teaching private personal growth classes to doing Zumba in her living room. She hopes to help women cultivate this same joy in their own lives. She is currently on a joy experiment and living on a sunny island. 

I'm Jarius (pronounced Juh-REECE), and I'm truly committed to building a tribe of self-loving, laughing, and joyful beings. My own awakening started eight years ago. After years of teaching high schoolers in NC, I moved with my family to Tennessee, and I found myself searching for RADICAL JOY! I found that radical joy in TN as an educational advocate building communities and helping communities grow together. Then, life came at me fast.  My family was forced to move 800 miles from our support system to a rural town in Illinois where I knew no one. I knew it was going to be necessary for me to once again AWAKEN JOY in my life. I started teaching Zumba at a gym in IL, and once again my joy tank was full. 

Two years after moving away from my loving NC & TN tribe, I opened The Kreative Lounge and Social Kollective, a creative space for tribe building in Springfield, IL. My community grew to over 100 women in the Springfield area, and the online tribe grew even larger. I made lifelong friends and connections as I dedicated my life to building a community with joy and love. Four years into building an amazing and authentic tribe, I learned how important cultivating my joy was going to be for me. My father would suddenly pass away in 2019, and my life would flip upside down AGAIN. 

I relocated back to my home state of North Carolina after the death of my beloved father, and I was committed to building an even bigger tribe of RADICALLY JOYFUL women through conversation, communication, and other cool ways to stay connected. 

I am, simply put, a visionary and friend. When I'm not writing or talking, I am drinking coffee out of a cute mug, watching baking shows, or dancing with my two kiddos. Music, food, books, and coffee all bring JOY to my life each day. Here's to good books and new friends.
